Mobility Service Nederland and Jedlix join forces to enable cheaper and more sustainable Charging
Amsterdam, 31 Jul 2019 – Lease company Mobility Service Nederland, specialist in electric cars in The Netherlands, has joined forces with Jedlix, expert in Europe in the field of Smart Charging in Europe. Both companies are forerunners regarding e-mobility and aim to facilitate the best charging experience for electric car drivers.
A user friendly and cheaper experience to charge electric cars
It is expected that in 2025 more than 10 million electric cars will drive on the European highways. With the rise of electric cars and sustainable energy, pressure on the power grid increases, which magnifies the need for smart charging. The free Jedlix app offers a solution because the car charges automatically during the most sustainable and inexpensive moments. For example, when more wind energy is available or during off-peak hours on the grid.
Because energy parties pay Jedlix for the flexibility it creates, electric drivers can save money by Smart Charging their electric car. On a yearly basis these savings can increase to 200 euros per year. The driver only needs to connect the electric car to the Jedlix app, after which Smart Charging takes place automatically. Naturally, the car is fully charged by the desired time of departure. The goal of this collaboration is to make lease car drivers more acquainted with Smart Charging and to further integrate the services of both parties. Mobility Service Netherlands and Jedlix join forces to create the ideal ‘Smart Charging experience’ for the electric lease car driver.
